CREATING A PORTRAIT

I started to paint this to match the original but as I had permission from the sitter to alter things if I wanted I decided to change the hair. You can see where I have removed it where the paint is scrubbed.

The next step is to slightly remodel the jaw line and paint in the shadows of the collar bone. While I've got the shape of the hair I want, I need to refine it to make it more lifelike.
